TASC would like to welcome our new Goalie trainer, Liz Mehlberg!!

Liz has a passion for the game of soccer and for training goalkeepers to grow in technique, communication and confidence. Liz’s background includes experience in private goal keeper lessons and coaching Grandville high school’s Varsity goal keepers. Her desire to play soccer grew from a young age all the way to state finals with Grandville High School. Liz’s soccer career continued at the next level while playing with Trinity Christian College. Her experience includes a week of international competitions against Costa Rican teams and training their local goalkeepers. Liz is excited to share her passion and knowledge to assist in developing strong confident goalkeepers, and to have some fun while doing it!

T.A.S.C. was founded in 2007 with the goal of offering a next level soccer experience for players in the area. 14 years of passion for the game of soccer, from our amazing staff and community, has helped make Thornapple Area Soccer Club the first choice for soccer players in Barry County and surrounding areas. The Club’s number one priority is continuous player development. We have implemented training platforms from some of the best coaches in the world into our age appropriate curriculum. Our dedicated coaches understand and instill this philosophy and principles at all ages. To ensure that there is a strong cohesiveness amongst all of the ages and a universal understanding to build quality soccer fundamentals within our program.   We offer a multitude of development opportunities year round for the passionate players and we offer flexible training for the multi-sport athletes as well. Highlighting our first class player development program are some of the best facilities in the area. We offer over 20 full sized, age appropriate and well-manicured fields to practice and play on.
